Textiles
Textiles was completely new to me. I found it really intresting and enjoyed learning a whole load of new techniques, including working with a sewing machine for the first time. I really am looking forward to exploring my new found skills.
Wall Hanging
This was my first textiles project. To create a wall hanging based on movement. I decided to show a representation of a ballet dancer and creating different elements relating to a ballet dancer.
Theatre costume design
This was my costume design project. Our brief was to design theatre costumes for alice in wonderland. we picked our characters from a hat, White Rabbit was my design. Everything has been made from scratch apart from the jacket which i customized the shape and pattern. As another part of our brief we had to choose a theme, this was tudor style. So this is why have used the rich fabrics and tudor detailing.
